Melissa Etheridge with the Boston Pops at Symphony Hall on Friday: The veteran rocker and one-time Berklee student completes a special two-night performance with the Boston Pops at Symphony Hall. Tickets range in price from $24 to $94.

Playing For Change at the Narrows Center for the Arts on Friday and the Wilbur Theatre on Sunday: The group of musicians from around the world that quickly became a YouTube sensation several years ago are back on the road for a stateside tour to promote their forthcoming third album. Enjoy this unique performance live in Fall River for $45 or Boston for $25 to $45.

A Great Big World at City Hall Plaza on Saturday: The pop-rock duo behind smash hit “Say Something” headline the free Boston Pride Festival. They’ll take the stage at 5:15 but the music will get started much earlier at noon with Mia Shahood and continue through the day with performances from Big Ol Dirty Bucket, JD Sampson and more. AMP 103.3’s Birthday Bash at Patriot Place on Sunday: Iggy Azalea and Austin Mahone will lead this free concert in Foxboro. Also set to perform are the show, which gets started at 3 p.m., are Little Mix, G.R.L. and MKTO.

Journey, Steve Miller Band at the Xfinity Center: The classic rock favorites join forces for a co-headliner in Mansfield. Opening the show will be fellow San Francisco veterans Tower Of Power. Tickets range in price from $30 to $150.

Widespread Panic at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion: Jam on with the Georgia-bred band as they stop in Boston for a night along the harbor. Making the show extra special will be openers Galactic. Tickets range in price fro, $29.50 to $45.

Zomboy at the House of Blues: His full-length debut album The Outbreak is not due till August, but the rising British DJ is already making waves in EDM. Find out why for $20. Brillz and Cookie Monsta / TC will also perform.

Reuben And The Dark at the Brighton Music Hall: Led by Calgary’s Reuben Bullock, the Canadian roots rockers hit Boston in support of their debut album Funeral Sky. Tickets for the show, which will also feature openers Andrew St. James, are available for $10.

Viceroy at The Sinclair: Dance the night away with the San Francisco DJ who brings “Summertime, all the time.” Business Casual Disco and Joe Bermudez will also perform. Tickets are available for $16.

Amy Fairchild at Johnny D’s: The local favorite celebrates the release of her new self-titled album, her first album in over a decade. Tickets are available for $12 or $20 with the CD. The Bored of Health Trio will open.

Chris Trapper at Club Passim: The longtime local favorite and former leader of The Push Stars completes a two night stand at the Harvard Square hotspot as he continues to promote 2013’s Technicolor. Tickets are available for $25.

My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult at the Middle East Downstairs: The veteran rockers from Chicago released Spooky Tricks, their 13th studio effort and first in five years last week. Local favorites Gene Dante and The Future Starlets will also perform, as will Vishno and DJ Toxic Rainbow. Tickets are available for $17.

Tim McGraw at the Xfinity Theatre (CT): If you missed his set with George Strait last month in Foxboro, make your way to Connecticut for his headlining tour to promote his forthcoming album Sundown Heaven Town. And be sure to check out the opening sets from rising stars Kip Moore and Cassadee Pope.

The Knocks, ASTR at the Brighton Music Hall: A pair of NYC-based electropop duos team up for a co-headliner in Boston. Tickets for the early show (set to start at 6 p.m.), which will also feature opener Dusty Digital, are available for $15.

Kastle + Lindsay Lowend at the Brighton Music Hall: If you’re going to the above, why not stick around and keep dancing at another co-headliner with two rising EDM artists. Tickets for the early show (set to start at 11 p.m.), which will also feature opener Brrio, are available for $15.

Howie Day at The Sinclair: The Maine native has reportedly been working on a new album with hopes of releasing the self-funded effort later this year. In the meantime, you can expect him to preview material from the follow-up to 2009’s Sound the Alarm at this show. Tickets for the show, which will also feature openers Cahill, are available for $22 in advance or $25 on the day of.

Duke Robillard Band at the Regattabar: The pride of Woonsocket, Rhode Island was just inducted into the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame. See why he’s one of the best bluesman around for $20.

Amy Black, Sarah Borges at the Bull Run Restaurant: A pair of Boston’s best team up for a special show in Shirley that celebrates the music of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. The night will feature both artists performing classic songs originally recorded at the legendary studio by by Otis Reading, Wilson Pickett, The Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Lou Rawls and others, as well as a few originals that embody the spirit and soul of Muscle Shoals. Tickets are available for $15.

Willie Nile at the Narrows Center For The Arts: The veteran singer-songwriter hits Massachusetts in support of 2013’s American Ride. Take a ride to Fall River and enjoy this show for $22 in advance or $25 on the day of.

Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band at the Providence Performing Arts Center (RI): The legendary Beatle is back on the road for another stateside outing with his All-Starr Band, which this time around features Steve Lukather (Toto), Greg Rolie (Santana & Journey), Todd Rundgren, Richard Paige (Mr. Mister) and Greg Bissonette. Not surprisingly, this show is sold out.

Michael Christmas at the Brighton Music Hall: After performing at Summer Jam last month, the Roxbury rapper returns to the club scene but his fanbase is surely growing. Find out why everyone is talking about this young emcee when he plays Allston for $12. Alex Wiley, Gio Dee, Kevin Abstract, Cousin Stizz, Kareem Sully and DJ Leah round out the bill.

William Fitzsimmons at The Sinclair: Touring in support of his new album Lions, the Pennsylvanian-native plays the Harvard Square hotspot with opener Leif Vollebekk, Tickets are available for $20.
